A new class of
heat exchanger

Your flow. Your temperatures. Your pressures.
One piece of metal, printed to match.
The most important part of your CDU is the one you didn't design.
Air can't keep up with rack power, and your customers want density you can't ship. The limit is your heat exchanger: stamped, brazed, and in every competitor's cabinet.
What if that limit became your edge?
- 5–15%
- of your bill of materials
- 100%
- of your thermal ceiling
Modern data centers need top-performing CDUs.
Performance starts with Phasic.‡
- * Figures assume a 100 MW site, wholesale colocation rates and PUE 1.4.
- † A smaller core removes what forces a bigger enclosure or a second unit.
- ‡ Each part is designed to your duty point; competitors specify from the same five suppliers.
It all comes down to geometry.
Shapes that can’t be drawn by hand or stamped by a press.
01
AI designs it
Flux is trained on more than 80,000 CFD simulations. It takes your duty point and returns printable CAD in about a minute, generating novel geometries that a thermal engineer, a CFD analyst and a CAD designer would spend months converging on.
02
Sub-millimeter channels, tuned per side
Sub-millimeter channels, with wall thickness and channel size set by your duty point rather than by a tool. Each fluid side is optimised on its own. A brazed plate presses the same chevron into both sides of every unit it makes, and that is what caps its water side. Printing removes the constraint entirely.
03
Printed as one piece of metal
No plate pack. No braze. No gaskets. One printed part, in stainless or aluminium, with no joint anywhere for a coolant to find.
A 500kW build, measured.
One build, not a catalog part. PHX-2ECD27-SS316-500 against a conventional brazed plate at the same duty and the same approach temperature. Design to different constraints and these numbers move.
| Metric | Phasic | Conventional Brazed Plate |
|---|---|---|
| Duty | 500kW | 500kW |
| Approach Temp. | 3.6°C | 3.6°C |
| Overall U | 5,081 W/m²K | 2,500 to 3,000 |
| Volume | 42L | 98L |
| Weight | 85kg | 127kg |
| Pressure Drop | .33 bar | .50 to .65 bar |
| Parts | 1 solid part | About 180 plates |
| Construction | printed SS316L | Stamped and brazed |
Three loop architectures on one platform.

Liquid-to-Liquid
100 kW to multi-megawatt
The core of the CDU. Facility water on one side, the technology loop on the other.

Two-Phase
Kilowatt class, modular
Condensers and evaporators for pumped refrigerant loops, where single-phase runs out.

Air-to-Liquid
10 to 100 kW
Rear-door and in-row. Captures rack exhaust at the source, with no containment rework.
